Donald Granville Coller

  General Notes:

Like his father, Donald did not believe in banks. The following is a recollection of Karen Coller Curell - My Father also did not believe in banks after losing money in the Shabbona Bank in 1929. When he died, my Mother and I found a shoe box full of money tucked in the safe in envelopes amongst his papers. We then had to deal with the IRS who investigates large amonts of loose money being deposited.

Donald's farm was accross the street from his parents farm. The address is 2221 N. Germania Road. The original farmhouse still stands.

• Residence, 1946, Snover, Sanilac County, Michigan. This information was in his mother's 1946 obituary (Ada Mary Caines Coller).

Donald married Hazel Mary Tank on 28 Oct 1938. (Hazel Mary Tank was born in 1910 ⁴⁷ and was buried in Johnson Cemetery, Lamotte Township, Sanilac County, Michigan.)
