Hazel Mary Tank
- Born: 1910 47
- Marriage: Donald Granville Coller on 28 Oct 1938
- Buried: Johnson Cemetery, Lamotte Township, Sanilac County, Michigan
General Notes:
A recollection of Karen Curell Coller: My mother cooked in a restaurant in Snover before she married. She was a great cook. She could not drive a car. She was pretty much home bound after marriage. There was a generation of women where few learned to drive.
Hazel was the daughter of a German immigrant family. During WWII there was considerable prejudice against people of German origin. This even penetrated the family unit. Hazel and Donald lived accross the street (Germania) from his mother and father. Hazel was subject to considerable derisive behavior by the Coller girls.
Hazel married Donald Granville Coller, son of William Ellsworth Coller and Ada Mary Caines, on 28 Oct 1938. (Donald Granville Coller was born on 12 Oct 1907,46 died on 11 Dec 1982 46 and was buried in Johnson Cemetery, Lamotte Township, Sanilac County, Michigan.)
