The 1880 U.S. Census states that Alice Brower's mother was born in Pennsylvania and her father was born in Ohio.

Bowen is the last name used in marriage information for Arthur Mensing and Mabel Miller. I have also received information giving her last name as Brown.

Alice married Wheeler G. Miller, son of George Miller and Sarah Ann Kitchen, on 2 May 1872 in Putnam County, Ohio. (Wheeler G. Miller was born on 8 Jul 1850 in Putnam County, Ohio,¹⁹⁹ died on 13 Nov 1913 in Ohio ¹⁹⁸ and was buried on 15 Nov 1913 in Oak Grove Cemetery ¹⁹⁸.)
