Marge worked as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Grosse Pointe Public School system for many years until her retirement, and was also an active volunteer in the community. She passed on Christmas Day 2009, ending her battle with Alzheimer's. Floyd and Marge had 5 children.
Marjorie married Floyd Sherman Nixon Jr., son of Floyd Sherman Nixon and Gladys Evelyn Stover, on 24 Aug 1950. (Floyd Sherman Nixon Jr. was born on 7 Dec 1926 and died on 20 Nov 1984.)
