Wheeler Collins

He was a hotel keeper at Saugatuck and Douglas on the Lake Michigan shore where the Kalamazoo River empties into a little bay on the shore of Lake Michigan. They finally sold out their hotel interests and moved to Denver, Colorado.

Wheeler married Sarah Mulvina Coller, daughter of James Losey Coller and Amanda Mulvina Richart, on 9 May 1873 in Calhoun County, Michigan.⁴⁸ (Sarah Mulvina Coller was born on 4 Dec 1849, died on 14 Nov 1900 in Brookings, South Dakota and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Brookings, Brookings County, South Dakota.)
