Her daughter, Avis, said that she was 5'8" tall. Avis also stated that Marguerite worked for Nelson Knitting Mills in Illinois. Research shows that this company was located in Rockford.
She was a member of The Federated Church of Popular Grive, Illiinois, for over 43 years per a letter from the Pastor, Rev. G. A. Doolittle on July 11, 1941. This means she would have joined the church in 1898.
Marguerite married Ferdinand Charles Gaetzke, son of Christian Gaetzke and Augusta Hermann, on 18 Jun 1895 in Beloit, Rock County, Wisonsin. (Ferdinand Charles Gaetzke was born on 13 Oct 1870 in Germany, died on 29 Dec 1922 in Township of Thee Lakes, Oneida County, Wisconsin and was buried on 4 Jan 1923 in Village Cemetery, Appleton, Swift County, Minnesota.)
